How to Make Delicious Heart-Shaped Pizza!

One of my favorite Valentine's Day traditions is making heart-shaped pizza for dinner with my family. This year we made cute personal pizzas that everyone could customize with their favorite toppings. Here are picture instructions so you can make your own heart-shaped pizzas with loved ones!

Ingredients:
Pizza dough (I used this recipe)
Pizza sauce
Shredded cheese
Toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, etc.)

1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.

2. Roll out your pizza dough after rising, into a heart shape. Roll it pretty flat as it will rise in the oven.

3. Make a crust by folding the edges of the dough. I made my crust pretty textured, but it doesn't have to be.

4. Spread pizza sauce thinly inside the crust border.

5. Spread shredded cheese on top of the sauce.

6. Spread toppings on pizza, then add some more cheese.

7. Bake for 15 minutes, preferably on a light-colored pan. (Note: the pizza I made is pictured on parchment paper, but we discovered that parchment paper burns easily. Aluminum foil probably works best.)
